About Kara Pesznecker

I have three passions in life, Photography, Dancing and the Ocean. I am a Senior at Oregon State University studying for my BFA in Photography. I started out as a Marine Biology major, but after a year of studying I realized I just wanted to take pictures of the fish, not study them. I love photographing people and the figure and of course underwater. I am also doing an internship this summer focusing on sports photojournalism, wedding photography, portraits and other commercial work. When I am not photographing I am dancing I trained in Jazz and Ballet for 9 years and now in Swing and Ballroom, it is my goal to one day become a professional West Coast Swing dancer. Many of my photographs are related to dancing and I find that dancers make some of the greatest models ever.
